Bladee, whose real name is enjamin Reichwald, is a Swedish rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and fashion designer. He is a member of the musical group Drain Gang, aka Gravity Boys.
He released his debut album Eversince in 2016, and his second album Red Light in 2018, both via Stockholm label Year. As well as his music, Reichwald also creates graphic art productions, which frequently appear as covers for his releases. Reichwald is also creative director of rapper Yung Lean’s Sadboys Gear clothing label.
Bladee’s musical style is characterised by extensive use of autotune and a fusion of elements of trap, alternative R&B and cloud rap. i-D magazine describes his style as “leaning towards emotional rap with obscure lo-fi production”, while saying that in 2018 he has “evolved into a kind of self-tuned dark angel”.
He receives widespread attention for his collaborations and live performances with Yung Lean.
