Montpellier-born ASDEK is renowned for his UK House, Bass House, Hip-Hop & Techno-influenced productions (“Switchin” and “Es Isso”, “Murdah Remix”), his membership of the Contrebande project alongside Habstrakt and Basstrick, but above all for his disconcerting ease in juggling styles with a consistently clinical production quality.
In recent years, ASDEK has attracted attention for his collaboration with Vladimir Cauchemar on the track ‘Brrr’ with rappers Laylow and Rim’k.
He has played a host of European venues and festivals, including the mainstage at Plages Electroniques, Electrik Park, Terres du son, Delta, Lollapalooza, EMF and Main Square, as well as venues such as T7, Warehouse, Bikini and Rex Club.
Driven to fuse his musical influences in new ways, ASDEK has collaborated with a number of fashionable labels, including Confession, Monstercat and Insomniac. He has also received support from a host of electronic music stars including DJ Snake, Skrillex, RL Grime, Tchami, Malaa, Jauz, Habstrakt and many others, before joining the Virgin Music France label.
He recently released a new EP entitled you should have closed the door before you left, which has already racked up hundreds of thousands of listens.
