Amsterdam-based DJ, producer and guitarist Ginton is a genre-defying artist known for blending signature guitar riffs with globally appealing electronic sounds. A Jazz Guitar graduate of the Conservatorium van Rotterdam, he has co-produced for global artists including Drake, Lojay, Rico Nasty and Gordo, contributing to Drake’s platinum, Billboard #1 Honestly, Nevermind and Gordo’s DIAMANTE, which peaked at #3 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
His collaboration with Stonebwoy, “JEJEREJE,” generated over 300M TikTok views and topped Shazam’s Global Worldwide chart, while his work with GRAMMY winner Richard Bona and four-time GRAMMY nominee Salif Keita earned a GRAMMY consideration for Best Remix.
Ginton is also the first artist to officially rework a song by GRAMMY winner and African music pioneer Fela Kuti, joining forces with Afropop leader ODUMODUBLVCK on “No Nation,” and has officially remixed Nina Simone’s I Am Blessed. Through his imprint Woody Trees, Ginton continues to push the boundaries of global electronic music, with collaborations spanning MoBlack, Francis Mercier, Cesária Evora, Joeboy, Maz and Austin Millz.
